  1. Santa María de Cistella: This is a building with a Romanesque façade that dates from the 12th century, this being the most outstanding part of the church, as the rest was rebuilt in the 18th century.
  2. Castell de Vilarig: this palace, which is located in Vilarig, has its foundations in a castle dating from 978, however, it was not until the 13th century that it became known as Vilarig. It is true that, nowadays, it is private property, which is why it cannot be visited, but it deserves at least a mention and a visit to see the surroundings.
  3. Sanctuary of Nuestra Senyora de Vida: this religious building on a small hill was built in 1429 by the inhabitants of Cistella and was dedicated to Sant Miquel. In the middle of the 17th century the rector Francesc Veí rebuilt it and it is believed that it was then that the dedication to Mare de Deu was established.

  3. San Fernando Castle: this castle, which is a BIC (Bien de Interés Cultural), is considered the largest bastioned fortress in Europe. It was built to defend and protect the border of the Pyrenees after the loss of Roussillon and Sardinia. Work began in 1753. Part of the structure was destroyed in 1939 until what we can visit today remains. The most beautiful image of this fortress can be seen from the air, since the shapes of the structure can be seen very well. Old town: Like every city, Figueras has an old town, which you should not miss with its picturesque streets full of atmosphere.
  4. Empuriabrava and The Gulf Coast of Roses: this area is magnificent for enjoying the Costa Brava, famous for its clear sandy beaches and crystal clear waters.
